What is the “Back to Europe Movement”?
It is an international ministry network in helping to develop a process of mobilizing the Church around the world to reach Europe with the gospel.
Main purposes of B2E
The “Back to Europe Movement” (B2E) seeks to join efforts between different ministries and churches in Europe, issuing a “Macedonian call” to the Church around the world.
The Church around the world must engage in the re-evangelization of Europe. We seek to mobilize the Church with contextual models.
Europe is experiencing one of the biggest people group migrations in history. There are more than 55 million immigrants living in Europe. Many of these ethnic groups are from limited access countries and hardly reached with the gospel.
By connecting with organizations and churches working on the field.
Back to Europe is led by an international team. The members of this group were appointed by the participants of the Torremolinos consultation in May 2009 and it has been change according to need
The international team deals with the daily running of the office, is available as a contact group for churches and organizations, looks after the policies of Back to Europe, is available to speak in consultations on issues of mission to Europe and is available to advise organizations on these issues.
The five members of the international team are:
is chairman and responsible for the daily administrative duties. He is the field director for OC Spain and based in Spain.
is strongly involved in ‘multi-directional mission’ and multi-ethnic church life, working on behalf of Kontakt Mission. He is based in Germany.
is working with Missions for the Third Millennium currently living in London.
Kees Van der Wilden
is the webmaster coordinator of the team. Kees is based in the Netherlands. And he is teaching and mentoring the new generation.
is working with latin people coming to Switzerland. Is one of the pastors of a multicultural church.
